Get £150 American Express cashback with Homes & Villas by Marriott International

A cashback deal for Marriott’s ‘Home & Villas’ subsidiary has appeared on a lot of American Express cards.

If targeted, you will receive £150 cashback when you spend £500+ by 30th April.

It is worth a look if you are planning a self catering holiday this year. You will also earn Marriott Bonvoy points on your stay, at the reduced rate of 5 points per $1. Points are based on your total spend less booking fees, taxes, cleaning fees and extra add-ons.

Elite members of Marriott Bonvoy will also earn a status bonus:

• Silver Elite: 10%
• Gold Elite: 25%
• Platinum Elite: 50%
• Titanium Elite: 75%
• Ambassador: 75%

…. and Gold and above receive additional points as a welcome gift:

• Gold Elite: 500 points
• Ambassador Elite, Titanium Elite, Platinum Elite: 1,000 points

Each night you book counts towards elite status with Marriott Bonvoy but, oddly, does not count towards lifetime status. From 2022, Homes & Villas spend will also count towards Ambasador status, which requires both 100 nights and $20,000 of expenditure.
