LBA lounges….let’s get BA back to LBA!

  • Yorkshire rich says:

A member of cabin crew last summer told me BA were going to start flying to LBA again soon. This obviously as never materialised. I do wonder if this will ever happen. I HATE Manchester with a passion.

  • dougzz99 says:

I always find the Residence Inn rate odd, it’s typically quite expensive so why halve the return. Do they really have that many long term residents as compared to say Springhill Suites which I believe return full points.

I’d missed the Protea Entebbe review, just read it, which brought back memories.

We stayed there Feb 2020 for a couple of nights on the way home from sightseeing and safari. I’d chosen it as it was near the airport, but it was certainly not an ‘airport hotel’. Great staff and location on Lake Victoria, food in the bars and restaurant was good too.

  • Rizz says:

    Bonvoyed…

This program is so shockingly weak and keep getting worse.

    • Andrew says:

I would quite like it if the premium brands earn more than 1 elite night per night stayed, especially since I can’t earn elite nights from 3 rooms as I could with SPG.

  • Daniel says:

Was really looking forward to a Protea redemption I had for 10 nights in October for an incredible 44k points in total… May have to give this a miss now.

  • Filipino_Chino says:

If you are going to LBA, don’t bother with the The Yorkshire Lounge… may as well be called The Lancashire Lounge, it’s that bad…
