Manchester Airport announces more terminal moves

As work continues on the second phase of Manchester Airport’s Terminal 2 transformation, another 11 airlines have announced their intention to move across.

Once the £1.3 billion project is completed, over 70% of passengers at Manchester will use Terminal 2.

Terminal 1 will then be closed.

Manchester Airport announces more terminal moves

The following carriers will be moving from Terminal 1 or Terminal 3 in the next phase:

  • Austrian – Sunday 27th October
  • Lufthansa – Sunday 27th October
  • SWISS – Sunday 27th October
  • TAP Air Portugal – Wednesday 30th October
  • Biman – Tuesday 5th November
  • Jet2 – Wednesday 6th November
  • Iberia Express – Thursday 7th November
  • Vueling – Thursday 7th November
  • Egyptair – Tuesday 12th November
  • Sun Express – Tuesday 12th November
  • Royal Jordanian – Wednesday 13th November
