Hyatt launches a new sale – should stack with Amex cashback

Hyatt has launched a sale for stays at hotels in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, with savings of up to 20%.

You need to book by 6th December for stays by 20th April 2025.

You need to use a promo code, SAVENOW, at hyatt.com to bring up the sale rates.

For the few examples I ran, the sale rates were non-refundable. They were not the cheapest rate in every case I looked at, but for most hotels there was a saving.

American Express is currently running a cashback deal worth £100 when you spend £250+ cumulatively at participating Hyatt hotels.

Whilst the small print always says that only ‘checkout spend’ counts, it is very likely that a pre-paid booking booked in this sale would trigger it. The Amex offer expires on 6th January.

Hyatt is also running a double points promotion until 20th December, although registration is now closed. If you did register, remember that you only start to earn double points from your second stay and that only EMEA and APAC hotels are participating. Mr & Mrs Smith stays do not count.
