Happy Christmas to you and your family from all of the team here at HfP.

Thank you for your support over the past year. We managed to grow page views again – up 12% on 2023 to 32 million, on top of 12% in 2022 – which means we’ve grown every year, even during the pandemic, since the site launched in 2012.

Happy Christmas from the Head for Points team

Please feel free to share your Christmas travel plans in the comments. Obviously Rhys wasn’t going to be sticking around, and despite being in Los Angeles ten days ago is now back across the Atlantic in Toronto. Sinead is in the UK having the first Christmas with her new son. Katie is here but disappearing off to Spain for New Year and Conny and I will be off to the Middle East.

We will slowly get back into things tomorrow as Rhys and I look back over our year in travel. Anyone waiting with bated breath for the next part of Barry’s SkyTeam odyssey will need to wait until Saturday – but be assured that he did (eventually) make it home for Christmas!

With our best wishes,

Rob, Rhys, Sinead, Katie and Conny

Merry Christmas to you all. Been an avid reader since 2013. Thanks for the excellent work you do and helping us to maximise our travel. Off to Vietnam and Thailand tomorrow using points and will be testing out the Finnair no recline seat on the way back, can’t wait!

Merry Xmas everyone and thanks Rob and team for the great articles you publish on a daily basis. It is the first site I check in morning and the only site I check when away as I try to stay offline during travelling.

I honestly don’t know what I am doing in 2025 because every time I decide a destination I always end up somewhere else 😂 But I do have a vague idea; South/Central America somewhere? and Namibia?

Anyway, this year I toured S.Korea, Tokyo, Macau and Hong Kong. Hotel highlight was staying in Regent Hong Kong. It’s an awesome hotel.

Merry Christmas HFP team! Agree with the many comments that this website is now an at least daily read. 2025 sees our first long haul trip with our little ones, all in club and with 2 companion tickets of course! Hope everyone enjoys today whatever they are up to

Merry Christmas everyone!! Thank you for all the advice and tips from HfP and fellow readers. Will be doing our last flight of 2024 on 27/12 to Madeira, thanks to BA moving flight to 7:30am, so we need to get up at 1:30am after Boxing Day, but we are all looking for it after all the Christmas excitements and chaos!

Merry Christmas to everyone. Currently on safari after a week in Cape Town. Not sure what we’ll be getting for Christmas dinner.

Merry Christmas Polly! How have the travels been of late? Did your return to SE Asia happen? I hope you’re well, and having a fabulous Christmas! X
