The Lowry Hotel joins Millennium Hotels

Manchester’s five star The Lowry Hotel (although it is technically in Salford) has joined Millennium Hotels.
The hotel was originally managed by Rocco Forte and was most recently part of Preferred Hotels.
Inside Millennium it will sit as part of the ‘Leng’s Collection’ brand.
The hotel was purchased by Singaporean property group City Developments in 2017, which is also the parent of Millennium. That said, City Developments operates hotels under other brands as well as its own so it wasn’t a slam dunk that it would join.
