Marriott Bonvoy Moments is the Marriott Bonvoy experiences platform where you can redeem your points to buy and bid on various in-person events such as concerts, sporting fixtures and dining packages.
These are often money-can’t-buy experiences that take you behind the scenes or to exclusive events that are not open to the public.
There are two kinds of Moments:
- Fixed-price experiences which are bookable instantly for points
- Auction experiences where you bid against other members in points-only auctions

What kind of experiences does Marriott Bonvoy Moments offer?
Moments range from mainstream events such as concerts to unique VIP experiences. Whilst Marriott Bonvoy Moments is a global platform, with events all around the world, I want to focus on those that are most interesting to a UK-based reader.
Concerts at The O2 in London
Some of the most popular redemptions are for concert tickets. Marriott Bonvoy operates a VIP suite at the O2 and routinely offers tickets to concerts on the Marriott Bonvoy Moments website. A photo of the suite is above.
Past acts that members of the HfP team have attended (using our own points, not comped) include Paul McCartney, Fleetwood Mac, Paul Simon, Sting, U2, The Killers, Celine Dion and Lionel Richie. (Yes, OK, we’re not the youngest here in the HfP office.) Virtually all concerts that occur at The O2 are made available.
The O2 also hosts other events, of course, including Disney on Ice, WWE fights, Peter Kay’s stand-up residency gigs, Strictly Come Dancing Live and Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live.
Marriott’s Luxury Suite at The O2 won’t get you super close to the acts – it’s located on the balcony along the tiered seating – but it does provide a good view in a comfortable environment with food and drink provided.
Other musical events are offered on an ad-hoc basis – this year it had VIP tickets to All Points East, the summer festival in Victoria Park in London.
And you don’t need to stick to London ….
Marriott Bonvoy has similar partnerships with other concert venues around the world, including the Uber Arena in Berlin and the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
Berlin is especially interesting – tickets tend to need fewer points than The O2 concerts in London, and the points you save can go towards redeeming for a Marriott Bonvoy hotel and making a short break out of it.
If you off on holiday to a major city, it’s worth seeing if there any Marriott Bonvoy Moments events which coincide. Here is an out-of-focus photograph of Rob with Jamie Cullum, who he met at a VIP Marriott Bonvoy Moments event in Dubai some years ago:

Live experiences
Marriott Bonvoy Moments currently has a range of live experiences you can bid or buy on, as well. These often include overnight stays at hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy.
Current options across Portugal, Madrid and Edinburgh include (bids correct as of Friday):
- Taste Alentejo: Grape Harvest, 4-Hands Dinner + 2-Night Stay at Torre de Palma Wine Hotel, a Member of Design Hotels™ (current bid: 102,500 points). You’ll get the opportunity to pick grapes in the vineyard, crush them barefoot in marble lagares, and witness the start of the 2025 vintage, before enjoying a four-hands dinner by acclaimed chefs Miguel Laffan and Vladmir Veiga.
- VIP Experience for Atlético Madrid vs. Elche CF + Stay at Madrid Marriott Auditorium Hotel (current bid: 92,500 points). An exclusive VIP experience with access to a private lounge located inside the players’ tunnel and seats in the lateral first stand, as Atlético de Madrid takes on Elche CF on 23 August.
- Experience a World-Class Whisky Journey at Lindores Abbey Distillery + Stay at The Glasshouse, Autograph Collection (current bid: 47,500 points). Check in for a two-night stay at The Glasshouse, Autograph Collection, enjoy a traditional afternoon tea for two, then take a private chauffeur transfer to Lindores Abbey Distillery for an exclusive tour and Whisky tasting experience.
Marriott also regularly hosts ‘Gourmet Odyssey’ events in London. These get you a six course tasting menu served across three restaurants (two courses at each) within walking distance of each other, with the event launched at a drinks reception at a nearby Marriott Bonvoy hotel.
The most recent packages were sold in early July and Rob is a fan – he is booked on again for September. There is a thread in our forum discussing the Gourmet Odyssey events.

How can you earn Marriott Bonvoy points?

Conclusion
As you can see, there are plenty of options to use your Marriott Bonvoy points for non-hotel redemptions on Marriott Bonvoy Moments.
Marriott knows that you may love its hotels, but that hardened business travellers don’t necessarily want to use their points for yet another stay! Marriott Bonvoy Moments redemptions are also a great way to thank your partner and family for their patience whilst you are working away.
Experiences are regularly added to the platform so keep an eye on it. We try to cover the most interesting UK ones on Head for Points as they are launched.
