News in brief:

Marriott adds H15 in Krakow to The Luxury Collection

After the usual construction delays during refurbishment, Marriott’s The Luxury Collection now has a property in Krakow as H15 Palace (website here) joins the brand.

It looks promising, with just 70 rooms and suites, the Michelin-recommended Artesse restaurant, bistro, gym, pool, saunas, spa and summer garden.

To quote the owners:

H15 Palace is an exceptional property, not only in terms of its historical qualities, but also in terms of its art-saturated interior design at the highest global level and its approach to guests aimed at creating exceptional experiences. We are all the more convinced that it will perfectly fulfill the criteria of The Luxury Collection brand, and its new identity will become an additional magnet, attracting guests to the capital of Malopolska.

H15 is the second hotel in The Luxury Collection in Poland, following Hotel Bristol in Warsaw.

We will add it to the list for a potential review trip!

See England vs South Africa with Hilton Honors points

Hilton Honors has added some packages for the England vs South Africa IT20 game at Old Trafford to its experiences website.

The date is Friday 12th September with a 6.30pm start.

Because these are ‘buy it now’ deals they could be gone by the time you read this, although they were still there last night.

Your options are:

  • Watch the match from the balcony of a pitch-side room at the Hilton Garden Inn, and then stay the night – 115,000 points for two people
  • VIP tickets with access to the Century Lounge, including food and drink – 110,000 points for two people
  • General admission tickets – 45,000 points for two people

Tickets are also available for the Lancashire Lightning vs Kent Spitfires Vitality Blast quarter final on Saturday 6th September. Two general admission tickets will cost you 30,000 Hilton Honors points.

The Hilton Honors Experiences site is here. The recent IT issues have been fixed and you do (finally) now see all UK events by selecting ‘United Kingdom’ from the dropdown menu.
