Cathay have also been cancelling a host of flights recently. Mine was cancelled early Dec from U.K. to Aus, but this week they have cancelled all Jan flights bar a service twice a week to Sydney. No other aus cities running and no indication of when they will restart.
Separately, BA has been shocking for my trip back to Aus (and the return I plan early Jan). Singapore and Qatar doing a much better job, though obviously SIA isn’t one world. If getting back is important to you on a timeline, I’d go for reliability today.
