I did wonder about the Manchester route as LNER doesn’t go to Manchester!

You can buy tickets for other than LNER operated trains including Manchester to London on their website so maybe they fall within the terms of this offer.

I dont think it’s intended like thay, I think it’s a show us your ticket and we’ll let you on, could be wrong
