This appears to be true if a couple of dummy bookings to JER are to be believed (c. £500 return… whew).
Again, as per a couple of previous posts on this topic, THIS NEEDS TO BE COMMUNICATED by BA! Anyone who looks at a route and gets an extortionate quote may well be put off looking again for life.
Their PR throughout the past few weeks has been appalling. The last post on their twitter was on 21/3/22 about the China Eastern flight.
I agree with you, but I think BA know they can get away with whatever they want. People will still travel with them. That’s the power that monopolies have.
