The £20 statement, then we’re taking £19.28 on the DD. Someone, Curve I think, but not sure, had took .72p and then credited it back, some sort of check. So Bcard deducted the credit amount from the £20 due.
This is normal for Barclays and some other cards including Amex, you’ll have to pay the 72p next month.
While most people here shouldn’t be in such a position, if you’re ever short on cash you can buy something expensive and refund it quickly, then this will give you another month to pay off your real balance, without being charged interest.
Curve’s GBIT also allows you to create “fake” refunds and effectively add an extra month to a card’s interest free period
