Surely you don’t need a nanny to deal with these sort of issues? I don’t think that’s particularly fair to imply any subtext. If Barclaycard can be as explicit as stating “Avios will arrive by the second working day of the next month” – you expect that to happen.

Could it be as simple as “there are some avios flights I want to purchase and if my Avios is not transferred by when Barclaycard have explicitly stated it will be, I may lose those flights”
