The obvious first question is whether this is the cash price for that flight, or the best cash price available on ANY flight that day. If B then I’d use Avios.
As far as counting accrued Avios on cash tickets into the equation, I don’t. Partly because I’m lazy and partly because the flexibility of Avios tickets has real value, so I treat that value is offsetting the Avios earned on cash in my value equation.
