Not quite – the wording on the automated message is along the lines of “We’ve taken the decision to prioritise customer service calls over sales calls, so we can assist people who need our help urgently – If you are at the airport and your flight has been disrupted or cancelled, please press 1. Anything else, please hold the line”
It then routes you accordingly – so they will take sales calls if the call centre isn’t busy dealing with people with missed flights/connections/delays/cancellations at airports.
It’s not great though.
They should have a dedicated flight disruption line tbh – it is off-putting when you are trying to use a broken website, and then face a long time on a phone call because they can’t get their technology right…
