Reply To: Barclay Premier / Barclaycard Customers NOT eligible for the 100k (Advice?)

Well I’m frustrated now. I applied and was accepted to both Premier banking and the Avios plus card in mid-November. My billing cycle for my existing barclaycard was due 02/12/12, so this was the date that appeared in my app as the transfer date – nothing I could do about that. I even queried with Rob on the main post and he confirmed it’s the date you are approved for the card, not the transfer date, that matters as the qualifying date.

Of course, Barclays are now saying it’s the transfer date that is key so I don’t qualify for the offer.

Complete shambles, I also had the account linking issues and went into the branch to get that sorted back in November too!

Never touching Barclays again
