Is there any additional cash payable? If not, the difference between the Avios required at maximum rate would be logical, even though the cash and Avios difference at the old RFS rate almost certainly works out more attractive.
At 1p/Avios that’s £115 equivalent for a return, or two people one-way. I suspect a cash upgrade (and almost certainly the original price difference) is likely to be higher than that.
