@meta thanks for very useful insights. I think with 50 quid cheaper we are sold on the Hilton, mainly due to the locations as well. We will be sightseeing and catching up with uni. friends as we all now have toddlers 😀
Considering 16 months old (then) on tow and a few luggage (as on our way home, Bangkok) we will probably need to use taxi both in (from HND) and out (to NRT). I only used taxi before in Tokyo in short distance and I don’t think it was cheap… I am not sure if Hilton has limo-bus like Conrad based on the reviews I have read…
I emailed Hilton and they are happy to store our luggage prior or after our stay free-of-charge as well as we plan to drop off the luggage and visit a few ryokan before spending the last 5 nights in Tokyo.
