Curve: pay your £5k on credit card, and the rest on curve. I pushed a very large chunk through that way a couple of years ago (on 2 cards, on 2 separate days to get around the daily limit that was in place at the time). Dealer was initially slightly disbelieving, but once I showed them that curve has “debit” stamped on the back they were fine with that approach.
