When you say “negotiated”, have you confirmed that you will get points and benefits for a “special” rate?!
That’s a good point. It’s showing on my app as points earning and the ‘Best Flexible Rate with Breakfast’ – so it looks indistinguishable from any normal rate. It was just that the manager apparently keyed it in while I was standing at front desk talking to him. I wonder if I should ask in that case.
