I get invited to quite a few of these events and most are quite dreary/forgettable, even in expensive venues. I prefer events with something a bit different –

was one and there are a few other golf places of different types around the City. Nobody needs to be a golfer – everyone seems to have a go and it’s a talking point if the guests don’t know each other.
