I doubt many people have been offered 35k avios for keeping their BAPP – it’s more common to be offered 10k for spending £3k in 3 months, for example. If you do this close to your renewal date, that £3k (or whatever) could go towards triggering your next voucher.

Platinum tends to get the big retention offers but these seem to have slowed down a bit recently.
