Yes just read that, the 7000 Avios alternative option must be selected “one month before your anniversary date”, so I will indeed be stuck with another voucher it seems. Which if I can still use later in the year despite being moved out of Premier – is no big deal.

This phrase on the Barclays site is a little contradictory in the sense that if you decided to leave they still entertain the idea of you having a voucher to spend – although it may mean leave the Avios rewards scheme rather than leave Premier banking entirely:

“If you are due an anniversary cabin upgrade voucher, you won’t get it if you cancel your Barclays Avios Rewards before it appears in your British Airways Executive Club account. If this is going to happen, we’ll let you know at the time.”
