If prices are the same, I’d have taken the older website and bigger kickback!
I always do an analysis of points vs cash vs booking vs avios. Some chains or hotels are worth booking via Avios (under the old 15 avios) though some were considerably more than booking or direct.
I have one booking with Avios hotels for April ’24 and assume I should get 15/£ as promised at time of booking
