We had a lovely stay at the Aloft Bali Seminyak. Amazing breakfast, good (and not excessively priced) meals and drinks in the evenings. Small but nice pool with sea views on the roof. Bunch of good cafes and restaurants nearby, short walk to the beach. Fun but not too much partying, and quite reasonably priced when we stayed
However… it depends what you’re after from a stay in Bali! I wouldn’t recommend it for someone mostly interested in cheap partying (bit far), nor for someone who wants the quiet of somewhere near Ubud. It’s also a solid 4* property, so not as fancy as you can get
I’d agree with all of this after our stay there a year ago. Would happily go back.
