@JDB, all our bookings either have those or don’t need them – just need cover for standard excess, which is often upwards of £2000! Obviously everyone should gauge their individual needs and buy a policy accordingly.

Interestingly, our Avis booking in the USA last Christmas had fully inclusive cover and £0 excess as well as free extra driver (booked via BA), which was excellent value.
