Recently booked a redemption for QR flights and checked out the HfP info. I decided to go via the QR website as pricing from outside of London ie EDI was slightly cheaper and the rumours of potential downgrades being more likely if booked on BA etc as opposed to QR – whether correct or not – swung it for me. I know the info re cancellation repayment makes this potentially easier with BA but that’s the chance you take.
