I have got a vaguely related question! Thinking of booking LHR > SYD Return for 2 people using companion voucher. There is currently availability for the dates I am looking at but only about 70% sure we can go, so very good chance we will need to cancel, but tempted to grab b the seats whilst they are available!
I think the cancellation fee £35 per person per flight, so think it will cost me £140 to cancel if we book then change our minds. However I am wondering if it might be more than this! Does both BA15 count as one flight or 2? On return flight I have an option dependent on date of BA16 right through (which as noted above is fewer Avios) or BA12/BA16 mix. Are these going to attract different cancellation fees?
