Honestly, @Cat, it was surreal! But just goes to show how some of these places are a bit of a law unto themselves. Once the story broke he scarpered and the resort tried to pretend he was just there to play golf – even though they don’t have a golf course! I read later that they got fined for employing him without a work permit.
The concierge/sales rep is a dual role, which confused most of the people reporting on this!
