Would you need travel insurance for cancelling a BA rewards flight booked with Avios, given that you can cancel your trip up to 24 hours before departure and get all the Avios and taxes back (though would have to pay £35 pp fee I think)? Would insurance only be needed if you were to cancel within 24 hours of departure?
