Are you talking to family and friends about this game, @Whatsthepoint!
I most certainly do not dare! The other day a close friend seemed so proud for a Club redemption for a 0.4p per Avios value. I tried so hard not to be smug!
I got into this ‘game’ via a recommendation from a friend so I feel it’s only right I share my ‘hobby’ should it come up. Most friends and family either just don’t get it or are too lazy to put the effort in. A few, like my daughter and son-in-law, have made a start, with a clear strategy. At present they don’t have the income/expenditure to rack up companion vouchers etc, but that will probably happen in the future. I also have one friend who thought he was doing it right when I showed him he wasn’t e.g. he didn’t know about HfP. He was most grateful when I put him right. That’s what friends do, isn’t it?
