Agree that BA can have cheaper prices on Avis/Budget sometimes but YOU CANNOT CANCEL.

Booking the same car with Expedia or directly with the provider (be it Avis or another) allows you to cancel 6 or 48hrs before pickup. Much safer if you are booking months in advance.
