So great there’s a Pig offer on the BAPP, but…it doesn’t
include the brand new one opening next week in the Cotswolds!Missed a trick or just presuming they’ll get the folks in anyway?
Maybe it won’t open in time for the end of the offer? Barnsley House is very attractive – we used to go there from time to time, but the owner (when it was still a private house) copied some original designs from my mother’s garden and claimed them as her own in a book, so became persona non grata. Nearby Bibury has become so ridiculously overrun with tourists/instagrammers these days that it is no longer quite what it was.
You’re quite right @JDB: the 14 June date I was sent in an email has been slyly changed to “September” online.
Great albeit harsh story about the House!
Have to agree about Bibury, although passing through on a random winter’s day can still be lovely.
Also fans of Chedworth: waiting to see if the Seven Tuns reopens.
