@Chrisasaurus – the compensation eligibility on a rerouting runs off the scheduled arrival time rather than the actual arrival time – i.e. BA isn’t responsible for EasyJet’s two hour delay. New UK261 rights attached to the EasyJet flight, so that flight would have needed to be more than three hours late to get compensation.

BA does owe you the cost of the replacement tickets which BAH appears to have agreed and they will keep the fare – assuming that works out for you – i.e. the cost of the EasyJet tickets is greater than any refund you would otherwise be due.

Additionally BA owes you any accommodation or food costs incurred directly as a result of the cancellation. They should also give you the ORC Avios and Tier Points for the BA flight you didn’t take and any double ones of course.
