Apologies for another question but I have received an email to pay the taxes for my flights I booked last night and have been quoted £287.50 each from HKG-LHR which is only a small amount less than my LHR-KUL taxes. Does that sound correct? I said I would call them back to pay as I wanted to check, thank you
Yes, that sounds right. Before the recent increases, the RFS prices were £300 and £275 for KUL and HKG respectively. With RFS and the fare being recalculated as one journey, you don’t get any HKG low/no charges benefit.
