I agree regarding Christmas in HK and Singapore. Over 30 years we were on a trip to the Far East – we decided to stay in Macau as we thought it might be more Christmassy – as we left our HK hotel there was a choir singing Carols around the Christmas tree and although there were Christmas decorations in our hotel – the long gone wonderful Bella Vista in Macau there little sign of Christmas elsewhere. On Christmas Day there was building work going on as normal.
