Why do people insist on arguing this point with Amex?! It makes it more likely that one day they will decide to follow through and actually start taking away people’s vouchers.
The (current) truth is very easy to find, both here and on other travel-related sites.
+1. It makes me hark back to the old days of pointsing, when people kept ringing up to ‘check things out’ and eventually over the years many things got shut down. People do want to meddle some and then act surprised when what was a good thing gets stopped.
