The only reason for me to pay for Metal is that it comes with a free FT subscription that otherwise costs £39 a month.
Is that the standard digital plan?
Standard Digital plan is often on sale for about £160. Combine that with Amex £35 off and it’s a decent deal if you want just the FT.
