Thanks – ‘create custom trip’ has worked and is only requesting a deposit – the link (thanks Froggee) although works it is treating it as a flight booking and adds the hotel to the basket as a separate item and wants full payment up front.

Have got a better price direct from the hotel, but want to book flight and 5 nights with BA to retain Silver status via double tier points.
