I had a suite upgrade voucher and 5 nights booked at both hotels speculatively in June (so fairly low season). When I called, I asked to apply it to the Seafire first and they said there were no suites available and I would have to “negotiate” with the hotel to see what upgrade they would offer. I couldn’t be bothered doing this, so I just asked for it to be applied to the Indigo, and we ended up in a beautiful, 1-bedroom penthouse suite. (This proved useful as we were confined to it for 24 hours when a hurricane passed through!)
In February, I would imagine the Seafire is even more likely to be sold out, so you may want to think about your options. I posted some pics of the suite at the Indigo on the FT thread if you want to have a look at it.
I liked the pool area at the Indigo better than the Seafire, it felt less cramped. I think the main advantages of the Seafire are the beachfront location and the size and facilities of the standard rooms.
