We have a 3 weeks trip to Australia and the Far East. We will be in Sydney for 6 days, but we are a family of 4 with 2 adults and 2 older children (19 years and 16 years). We are happy with one room as will be out and about most of the time and really need to keep an eye on costs if paying for 2 rooms per night. Definitely need good train connections closeby. My child has intolerances so I would prefer a hotel with breakfast.

I have looked at View Hotel, Vibes and a few others. Don’t mind a Holiday Inn type of hotel. Never used Airbnb as with a hotel chain there is a cleanliness standard or accountability and no last minute cancellations, but if there is a really good one that many people recommend, then open to it. There is a first time for everything! I have family from the USA joining us too who will book what we go for so really wish to go for a place that gives value and has good location and links.

Any help would be appreciated.

Also don’t mind being a bit far out but taking a quick train into the city so train links would be key.
