Row one is seriously short on overhead space and that can also cause conflict! Also the nearer the front, the more chippy and entitled people seem to be these days. And seem to order about 5 G & Ts each. I think the leg room in FR exit row seats is the best of any carrier and they feel relatively private (though obviously they don’t protect your ears from loud people unhappy with the ice situation).

It’s not at all pleasant returning via LHR though, so direct on an LCC inbound probably wins the day.
