I haven’t had this email – only one saying the they’re changing some of the general terms and conditions of the card – no mention about having to change to the new pro from old pro
Received an email yesterday telling me that my £99 annual fee will increase to £299 (first year will only cost £199) from 11 March. I have to opt out of the tripling of the annual fee or else it’ll automatically apply.
There is nothing in the PRO membership that interests me so I’ve downgraded to the free card. The Avios were handy but I’d have to spend a lot more on CoT to justify paying £299 a year for the privilege of transferring my points over.
I think I’ll be closing my CoT account in the coming year.
