Don’t confuse what you see on the seat map as a sign of how busy a flight is. Not just VS but for virtually any airline
Not everyone is bothered whey they sit and a re happy to wait until much closer to their travel date. And as noted above some people and groups can’t select seats in advance/
A single flight isn’t an indication of whether an airline is making money or not. The return flight could be abaolutly rammed and there is also cargo (in both directions) to consider as well.
