100k MR Points AMEX Platinum Invite a Friend Bonus

Applied for a Platinum card at the start of December, have spent £10k.

However only 80k MR have posted, is this expected and the remaining 20k points posts separately? Any datapoints please

Only datapoint I have is for the BAPP card, my wife signed up for the recent 60k SUB promotion (it is normally 30k). When she hit the spend target the standard 30k points posted straightaway, the extra 30k didn’t appear for a few days. This was at the end of last month. The bonus points showed on the statement as Amex Goodwill.

I have signed up for the 100k Platinum bonus, but not planning on hitting it until May when a holiday payment will take me over the spend requirement, so will be interested to know how you get on.
