Can I use my BA Avios in my name to send my 14 year old daughter to the USA on her own to visit family ?
We have not set up a family Avios account but both my wife and I have our own Avios accounts.
Yes, no problems booking for her (she will need to be in your HHA or friends & family list, I think, though). Also she may not be able to check in online as an unaccompanied minor, we have had this happen a couple of times with our teenager when he’s been on a separate booking. I don’t know what they actually do if there is no parent travelling at all.
You will have to call to book and fill out forms before the 14 year old travels. https://www.britishairways.com/en-gb/information/atom/travel-assistance/children-travelling-alone
