Maximise your Avios, air miles and hotel points

I would appreciate some advice on the best (cheapest!) way to get 180 tier points, either via a TP run or a short break. I’m based in the south west so it’s always a pain to get up and back to London (wastes half a day either side of the trip) so if there’s a creative way around that (I don’t know, say flying from/to Newquay/Exeter/Bristol to somewhere to start /end the trip) please let me know.

100% London based options are fine, too.

    Thanks

Have you looked through any of the (multiple) threads on maximising TPs via BA holidays or TP runs? You can’t really just expect others to do all the work on your behalf.

Use Easyjet to Madrid and book a TP run from their to reduce taxes and pick a destination from there. If that cost greater than trip to LHR, Sofia is always popular or Athens which are both 80 points Business class and bolt on a day trip within the UK.IF B Class too rich turn it into a holiday and double up on TP

Yes. I have. Not expecting others to do the work for me, just share any relevant ideas they may have, if they wish to do so.

The other threads are very useful, but they don’t cater for the specific circumstances I mentioned, which is why I asked

Thanks for the suggestions. Ill look into it. Forgive my ignorance, but how does the day trip help?
