Do we think there is any likelihood of BA allowing the use of 2-4-1 on QR in near future like IB. Planning a Japan trip and this would be a far better option, especially from the regions.

There is talk about it but we could be looking at months or even years until it happens, if at all, so I suggest you book whatever you can find and – if necessary – rebook later.
