I am aware that the flight does not need to originate from the UK for the 2 for 1. If I call BA to book Sydney to Singapore as one leg on BA and then Japan (HND) to London as the second leg, would that be okay? The Sydney to Singapore distance is more than Singapore to Japan.
That doesn’t work within IATA fare construction rules, even as a double open jaw because of the direction of travel. It’s two one ways which theoretically aren’t allowed for a 241 booking.
