Just done a couple of checks on some flights to Boston from various starting points
From LHR, using a 2for1 voucher there’s £1700 taxes
From Dublin, i can book without the voucher for £700 taxes
WITH the voucher from Dublin, i can book business but not first, again £700 taxesIs this something that can be fixed if i call up to book, raterh than online?
I realise it wont be a First flight from Dublin to LHR, but that’s obvisouly fine.
Living in West Wales, Dublin is one of the few places we can get to direct from Cardiff, avoiding the 4 hour drive for LHR.
Any thoughts welcomed – thanks
DavidSometimes the booking system can be a bit frustrating when connecting flights are involved, but the fact it offers 1st when you book from LHR suggests it should be possible for an agent to fix if you phone up.
Before doing that you could also try tinkering with the stopover option, which gives more flexibility with regard to selecting individual legs.
I’ve booked e.g. GLA-LHR-xxx in 1st on more than one occasion, and obviously the first leg was only Club, not first.
